What is the COOP Exam?
The Cooperative Admissions Examination is an assessment strategy designed to enable the student's high school admissions program of choice to measure the growth and achievement of the student, to date, and develop an accurate understanding of the student's growth over time. The purpose of the examination is to provide objective information about eighth grade students applying to the Catholic High School admissions program of their choice. The examination measures academic achievement in reading, language, and mathematics and contains additional material to assess academic aptitude and memory

When is the COOP Exam?
Friday, November 11, 2016. Make-up test Saturday, November 19, 2016. (8:00 a.m to 12:30 p.m. for both tests). 

Where can I take the COOP Exam at?
At established test sites in Bergen, Essex, Hudson, Union, Morris, Passaic, and Sussex counties in New Jersey.

How can I register for the COOP Exam?
Obtain an application and handbook from a Catholic elementary or high school beginning Sept.1. You may also email or call 1-888-921-COOP (2667) weekdays between 8:30 a.m. and 8:30 p.m. 

How much does the COOP Exam cost?
A non-refundable registration fee of $60.00 will include scores sent to three high schools of your choice and a Home Report.
