Class Expectations

Classroom Rules:

Always show respect for everyone in the class. Treat people the way you want to be treated.  Keep Hands to Yourself.

Students will be on time, in their seat, and ready to go when the bell rings.

Students will follow all school rules.

Raise your hand before speaking out.

Other rules to follow on first day of class.

Homework:

Students are expected to do homework each night. This ensures that the student is practicing the lesson that was just taught. Homework is an easy way to make sure students are understanding each topic. Homework will be checked and sometimes collected. It counts as 25% of a marking period grade. Students must also follow the middle school homework policy that will be discussed on the first day of school. Homework will be posted on this website and on Google classroom.

Tests/Quizzes/Class Participation:
Tests: 40%
Quizzes: 25%
Class Participation: 10%; behavior, raising your hand to ask questions/answer a question/paying attention

Tests will be announced at least 2 days prior

Quizzes will sometimes be unannounced and be given at the beginning of every period to assess the previous days lesson.
