Assessments
Tainter Class Calendar will be sent home at the beginning of each month to plan for announced assessments. These assessments allow me as a teacher to analyze what your child understands and what your child needs more help in. All assessments will be tracked in your child's Data folder. Data folder will be sent home after an assessment has been graded and tracked - approximately 2-3 days after each assessment has been taken. Your child has the option to take the assessment home and correct answers. See "Redoing Assessments" at bottom of the page.

Redoing Assessments
Students are allowed to fix errors if the grade is below a 70% on all assessments. If your child receives a D or an F on an assessment, your child's assessment will be sent home. Please review the content with you child, correct the answers, explain why an answer is correct, and sign the assessment. The assessment grade will be raised one full letter grade (D to C, F to D).
