9/12/17 There will be an OPEN BOOK quiz on Friday, 9/15 on Native Americans. Students will be able to use their notebooks and charts used in class. They might be able to use the textbook as well.

9/26/17: Finish chart on European expansion begun in class. LEAVE THE PORTUGUESE SECTION BLANK. Due tomorrow, 9/27. Use the chapter 2 PowerPoint and Map in the
"Useful Links" Tab for help.

10/4/17: Please bring in headphones for tomorrow. We will be working with chromebooks

10/5/17: Finish chart on colonies. Check email for Youtube links. Colonial fair TOMORROW. Bring in materials ready to present.

10/12/17: There will be a TEST on the Colonies (Chapters 3 and 4) on Wednesday, October 18th. Slides will be online on Friday

10/26/17: Create a code like the Sons of Liberty with a secret message about anything we've learned so far. Include a key on the back to show how to read the code in case I get stuck trying to solve it. Stump me for some dojo points!

11/16/17: Modern Day Declaration Project due Monday, 11/20. Requirements posted on Useful Links Tab

11/27/17: Complete Worksheet on Indians in the Revolution. Both sides. Can skip #1 and #6 on page 57

12/1/17: TEST ON CHAPTER 7 NEXT FRIDAY, DECEMBER 8TH. Slides have been posted to study

1/2/2018: There will be a QUIZ on the Constitution next Tuesday, January 9th. Students will be assigned into pairs and work together using the textbook as well. Slides may go up the Friday before.

1/10/18: Complete worksheet on 1st Amendment CHOOSING 2 examples from each section. Should be 8 total questions. Answer on back side. Due Thursday, 1/11/18

2/1/18: Complete questions on the White House. Questions and virtual tour were emailed to students today in class. Should be answered in a Google Doc and shared with me

2/14/18: There will be a TEST on Tuesday, Feb 27th, on Chapter 12. Slides will be posted to study on Friday, the 16th.

3/22/18: Finish Worksheet on Texas. Due tomorrow.

3/26/18: There will be a QUIZ on Manifest Destiny (Chapter 15) on Thursday, March 29th. Slides will go up Tuesday, the 27th.

4/24/18: Presentations on North/South differences due MONDAY, APRIL 30th. They were started in class on Wednesday, April 25th. Questions are posted in Useful Links Tab. Students are only responsible for their section, not all questions.

5/22/18: ***TEST ON MAY 29th!*** LAST TEST OF THE YEAR! Test will cover Chapter 21, the causes of the Civil War. Slides will be up Wednesday, the 23rd.

10/20/17: Weekend homework has been assigned due to lack of respect from students. Must complete both sides of worksheet on symbiosis to be graded on Monday.

11/30/17: Quiz on Techtonic Plates, Volcanoes, and Earthquakes next Wednesday 12/6. Slides will be up on Friday, 12/1

1/22/18: Group Presentations on Planets are due FRIDAY, JAN 26th. Requirements are posted under the Useful Links Tab in "Planet Questions". Students will have some time in class throughout the week to work on it.

2/13/18: Finish Element License Plate if not completed in class. Due Wednesday.


3/14/18: Worksheet on Solutions and Mixtures due Friday, 3/16. Both sides are to be completed

3/16/18: Quiz on Melting/Freezing/Mixtures on Tuesday, the 20th. Slides will be up on Friday 

3/22/18: Finish worksheet on Physical and chemical changes. Due tomorrow.

4/11/18: Students should finish GROUP FOOD LOG if not completed in class. Due tomorrow at the latest. (Only 4 days instead of 7)

4/12/18: Students will be completing a log of all the food they eat from the 12th to the 19th. They will be recording the pH levels of all food, snacks, drinks, etc. for 7 days. They will take the average of these levels to see if their log is "heathly" resulting in a nuetral pH level. Chart and materials can be printed from the "Useful Links" Tab if original copy is lost. 

4/30/18" ***TEST ON 5/9*** SECTIONS 1-2 ONLY of Chapter 11. Anything passed page 593 will not be covered on test. Slides will be up on 5/3

5/15/18: Students will have ONE NIGHT to correct mistakes on their science test. If all mistakes are fixed correctly, 10 points will be added to the grade.

5/22/18: Finish Worksheet on the transfer of heat. Due tomorrow.
