Extracurricular Activities
Chinese Club: 1st Grade (details to come) 

Students can opt into this club to meet during free periods every other week. Working with our Mandarin language instructor, students learn about Chinese language, culture, history, holidays, and more.

Girl's Book Club: 4-5th Grade:
This club meets (usually after school) to discuss a book they are reading, and also serves as a safe space to talk about Tween issues. 

Early Morning Singers: Grades 4-8th Grades. 

Under the guidance of Music and Movement teacher Meera Jaffrey, the Early Morning Singers meet weekly to share in their love of music and song. (They meet before school.) They also perform for community events and to spread goodwill, such as at a local nursing home.

School Newspaper (5th - 6th Grades) Led by Assistant Teacher, LaToya Young, student journalists complete about 4 issues a year, covering current issues, school events, profiles and news. The club meets during lunch period.

School Musical: 5th - 8th Grades: A different show is picked every year and auditions with two performances in February. Rehearsals are after school.
